Engaged by AECOM, a multinational engineering company, to provide budget management support to Project Management Consultant (PMC) Team on Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s (MTA) NYCT CBTC 8th Ave Line Signal Modernization Project (59th Street Manhattan to High Street Brooklyn).

In collaboration with NYCT’s Capital Program Management’s (CPM) Construction Manager, Design Manager and Program Controls, assist in facilitating the Project Management Workflow of Additional Work Orders (AWOs) through the processing, approving and reporting on AWOs for several contracts under the CBTC 8th Ave Project.

Provide weekly reports on the status of current AWOs and potential AWOs, form the Change Initiation status to the Notice to proceed status.

Assist the Senior Project Manager in tracking and analyzing all costs associated with AWOs throughout the Project Management Procedure and calculating costs into the overall budget of approximately $828M.

Track and analyze all costs associated with Transit Authority Labor Account, CPM and Non-CPM Engineering Force Account (Design and Construction), and AECOM’s monthly burn rate.

Spearhead the monthly budget issues meeting informing senior management of schedule or time delays due to design errors, equipment issues, insufficient transit labor or engineering force account that might impact the Estimate at Completion.
