WORK EXPERIENCE

March 2022 to Now

Currently I work at Community Regional Medical Center, Fresno as a Physician assistant Hospitalist. Currently, I work mainly as PA hospitalist for in-patient service but also taking some shifts as Physician assistant doing ED admission, also cover some weekends at CBHC (community behavior health center) doing H&P for newly admitted patients.

My schedule is a week on and week off. During my week off I work at Kaiser Permanente Fresno ED as physician assistant working some days every other week where I see all ages, doing all ED job duties of Physician assistant at an ED setting.

August 2020 to Now

After Vituity group lost the contract with Saint Agnes Medical centers. I Kept working with the group as part time at Sanger and Mendota clinics of United Health Care Group as an Urgent Care provider. I work as Physician assistant at Madera Community Hospital at different Madera Community Hospital clinic at Urgent Care Rapid Care Clinic, Family Health Services clinics at Madera, Chowchilla, and Mendota clinic as Physician Assistant providing Family Practice and Urgent Care service treating all ages for with urgent and chronic medical problems, minor trauma, and lacerations as well as work related injuries.

I also credentialed to work on call at Concentra offices where I see patients for work related injuries and pre-employment physical exam, and I am doing DOT Physical Exam for professional drivers as I have NRCME License. (Stopped working at Concentra now).

Sept 2016 to Aug 2020:

Work as Hospitalist at Saint Agnes Medical Center as Hospitalist. I was doing admission of patients who needs to be admitted to the hospital from the emergency department. I re-examine patient, order required laboratory and diagnostic testing. Reconcile their home medications. Write admission H&P. I am getting great experience in management of different advanced and chronic diseases. I was working as part time covering weekends at CBHC doing H&P to the new admitted patients through CHPG.

Work at the California woman correction facility Chowchilla as primary care provider. During that time, I was doing all duties of primary care provider as mentioned below. During that time, I got experience with treatment of various chronic diseases as well.

Aug, 2010 to April 2016

Work full time as Physician Assistant at Fresno Veterans Hospital. I’m performing all duties that can be done by primary health care providers at the Primary Care setting such as examining patient, order different laboratory / radiology investigations, interpret the results as well as order consultations, and prescribe meds. The Fresno Veteran Hospital is well equipped with immediate laboratory, imaging, physical therapy and other service. During that time, I was treating various chronic medical diseases. During that time, I was working shifts at the VA ED as Physician Assistant ED provider.

January, 2010 to Aug 2010

Work full time at Southern California Orthopedic Institute as Physician Assistant for a busy Spine Surgeon who was running his business through four different clinic locations and mainly three hospitals. I was performing all duties of the Physician Assistant such as assisting him in different spine surgeries (laminectomy and fusion surgeries of both cervical and lumbar spinal vertebrae with different techniques) well as pre and post operative care. It strengthens my experience in orthopedic medicine as well as in preoperative/postoperative patient care.

The U C Davis PA program allows me to spend two years at Urgent Care and Internal medicine Clinics in Los Angeles area include periods of rotations at hospitals with in-patient, surgical, Geriatric, and ER hospital rotations. I was participating in rounding with the attending physicians. I Got good experience in performing medical examinations using standard medical procedures, obtaining medical history, performing physical examination, doing Urgent Care procedures, participating in initial evaluation, developing and implementing plan of care with attending supervision.
