Marine Engineer, looking to keep developing skills and progressing professionally. I hold a Marine Chief Engineer spanish issued certification with a UK CeC.
I can manage all aspects of a marine engine room from planning and performing tailored PMS, managing stocks and external works to operating machinery, performing preventive and corrective maintenance of engines and auxiliaries, fault finding and troubleshooting. I am looking for my next challenge, this time land based, where I can grow and have longevity and achieve personal and professional goals. EXPERIENCE

Third engineer onboard the marine survey ship Sam Simon, of japanese construction the vessel operated in partnership with local governments in West Africa. The ship is of japanese construction with a four stroke, medium speed 1332kw Akasaka main engine. Before departing to west africa I participated in the complete overhaul of one of the diesel generators among other refit works.
Superyacht Diana II, Mate Engineer

As mate engineer of this brand new 33 meter superyacht I was in charge of the engineering of the ship as well as second in command during operations. My main tasks were to observe the guaranty of all machinery and on board, assist the owner and the captain in the final steps of the delivery from the shipyard and help to train other more junior crew members. I started my career at sea with a short engine cadetship in tugs, in the port of Barcelona (Willy T and Cala Sequer) and then on I started to land contracts as a deckhand in the CTV industry and then moved to ERRV and multiroles as motorman and then as an EOOW. During this time I landed consecutives contracts in Northstar Shipping and Atlantic Offshore among others.
ACADEMIC STUDIES
I completed a two year program in
marine engineering in Spain. Then,
after a year of a combination of
workshop and seatime I achieved my
first marine engineering ticket.
Before my career at sea I also
completed a double degree in
Journalism.
