Assist the pharmacist with providing safe and appropriate pharmacy services to the patients, preparing, packing, and delivering medications and supplies.
Contact the patients to schedule a delivery using the mail order.
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy surfaces by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Receiving prescriptions or refills requests at the drop-off station, prescription data entry, entering all the critical information at the drop-off (patients name, drug name, strength, dosage form, frequency, quantities to be dispensed, pharmaceutical calculations in order to obtain correct doses of medications with verifying the accuracy of products ordered received. Entering the prescriber pertinent information.
Applying the third party insurance on the prescriptions received to verify the approval or the reasons for denying the insurance for any prescriptions request to be filled.
Maintain confidentiality of patients and proprietary information.
At the production station preparing medications for patients. Receiving and verifying orders. Processing and filling prescriptions. Completing patients paperwork related to the filling of a prescription.
Restocking shelves and maintaining inventory.
Giving the prescriptions filled to the pharmacist to verify them, and store the medications filled in the waiting bins to be pick-up by the patients.
Perform daily return to stock of the medications waiting in the bin for over 14 days, calling the patients to remind them to return to the pharmacy to pick-up their medications.

8.Refer all Doctor’s calls to the pharmacist.

Order & receive vaccines from the State vaccines for children
(VFC Program).
Log all the vaccines received in the CAIR system. Maintain a Reminder/Recall system to provide vaccines to children on time to prevent missed opportunities.
