Superintendent for Schneider Electric at The Boydton, Va Data center site. Working on a Hot Air containment system for 20 Mechanical Electrical Rooms. Supervising electricians in completing the task to allow the temperature to not exceed 104 degree F to the UPS cabinets.

Constellation New Energy -Micro Grid project Nov.2020 to Sept.2032

Responsible for Project Management and Quality Control of design, material and construction processes for the installation of Micro grid controls from eight I.C. Engines, BAS load shedding, and 8.5 Mw Steam Turbine Generator. Testing and operation of Micro Grid with M&V annual acceptance from Marine Base and NAVFAC. This is a combined ESPC project with a total reduction in energy consumption associated with controlling the Base total power from the installed STG and I.C. Engines. This is the most advance Micro Grid on a military base in the world. Included with the design is 11 RTU units with a data warehouse connecting to a 130 building BAS server and RTU server to automatically control all power related issues. Responsible for Project Management and quality control of design, material and construction processes for the installation of lighting re-lamping, Micro grid controls, air compressor changes, steam turbine installation with a three mile transmission system and building automation of 120 building at the Albany Marine Corp

Responsible in verifying installation of design for the electrical equipment of Marine Corp micro grid; Land Fill gas generator 2.1 Mwe and 8.5 Mwe steam turbine and controls project in Albany, Georgia.

Duties include review and approval of design for the 8.5 Mwe turbine and generator as well as the SCADA system for the micro grid to obtain Net Zero for the Marine Corp Logistic Base. Make recommendation to design including modification required to meet UFC and UFGS specification.

Responsible for the Quality control and Quality assurance of installation of the design of the electrical equipment and controls for a 50 Mwe to Georgia Power and CHP steam to Procter and Gamble. Duties include writing reports daily on progress to Project Manager. Report to Exelon Engineering on design changes and modifications.

Reviewing engineering drawing and specifications to verify proper installation of electrical design.

Assisting in startup and commissioning activities to provide oversight for safety and proper operation of equipment. The project is a waste wood fuel to steam energy supplying electricity to Georgia Power and steam to P&G.

Development Engineer Sept. 2012 to Aug. 2015

Responsible for the development of financial model and development of gas contracts and equipment specifications for proposed combined cycle gas turbine project.

Preparing development and operating budget estimates for combine cycle gas turbine projects.

Prepare power point presentation for potential investors, which includes presenting to assist in development capital for several projects in the tri-state area.

Plant Manager - Grant Town Power Plant Feb.2006 to Aug. 2008 Presently manager of 54 employees with 10 supervisors. Presently developing 10 years O&M plans with new environmental rule to be competitive in the next 27 years remaining on the power purchase contract with Allegheny Power.

Plant Manager - Goat Mountain Wind Farm Feb. 2008 to Aug. 2008 Managing a 100 Turbine windfarm consisting of 1MW and 2.4MW Mitsubishi Wind turbines. Located in Robert Lee, Texas. and supplying LCRA with 345KV transmission voltage, completed construction and commissioning with approval of LCRA H.V. Transmission Group out of Dallas, Tx..

Start-UP – February 2008 and presently generating test power to the grid. This is a merchant facility and will be controlled by SCADA from Boston, Mass.

GRANT TOWN FACILITY Nov. 1991 to Aug. 2008

Operation Supervisor

Responsible for Startup and training for the Operation Department personnel at Grant Town - a state of the art fluidized bed boiler with a total of 28 operators including 5 Shift Supervisors.

Responsible for the Instrumentation and Electrical Department during construction, startup, and operations of the facility with 7 personnel.

During two separate occasions performed as the acting Plant Manager for two months in 1993.

Responsible for development of the Grant Town Operation and Maintenance Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, Startup & Check out procedures, and personnel policies.

Operation And Maintenance Supervisor Feb. 1995 to 2006 Presently manager of 42 employees with 7 supervisors. Continue make plant modifications to improve plant performance and reduce operating cost.
