Provided and conducted daily drug and DNA testing for offenders on probation. Prepared and provided monthly graphical reports detailing the percentage of positive and negative results to prevent recidivism. Worked closely with the Department of Social Services and ACS in verifying and securing accurate information on probationers by cross-checking personal history for Probation officers.

Implemented life skills for male and female youth by assisting them in obtaining their G.E.D. Monitored and provided safety in the classroom setting. Engaged youth in developing their life plans. Provided group sessions that engaged in positive conversation and feedback. Assisted youth on field trips and outings.
1994 – 2000: NYC Parks Department Thomas Jefferson Center Asst. Manager
Supervised the daily operation of the Center and the Work Experience Program (WEP). Assigned tasks to maintain the center and the park’s outer perimeters. Responsible for the timekeeping of staff, the ordering of pool and maintenance supplies, and any events that incurred unexpectedly.
1990 – 1994: Asst. to the Deputy Director of Park Enforcement
Responsible for calendaring, scheduling meetings, answering phones, and disseminating them correctly. Typed all reports, charts, interoffice memos, and filing. Handled officer’s issuance of uniforms and equipment and kept a record of all items. Responsible for weekly collection of timecards, timekeeping, and their submission to HR. Ordered office supplies and equipment and maintained that the equipment was always operable and up to standard.

Handled 911 emergency calls from the public and various agencies. Responsible for dispatching police units to ensure safety throughout the five boroughs.
