● Technologies: ReactJS, Postman, AWS, Github, Firebase, Mapbox/Maplibre, JDBC, MongoDB, NodeJS

● Methodologies: Data Structures and Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming, Agile and Scrum PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Undergraduate Researcher Computer Science Department, UC Santa Barbara October 2023 - Present

● Investigating methods to improve accuracy, efficiency, and cost of distributed data stream ingestion, processing, and modeling algorithms. Exploring applications of such methods for machine learning models in industry. Software Engineer Intern Locana (Locana.co) June 2022 - Sept 2022

● Built applications for the company and our clients geared towards geospatial data visualization and analysis. Projects Below:

● WRI Agriadapt (Agriadapt.org) NextJS, Typescript, Javascript, Mapbox, AWS Amplify, i18-next, Google Analytics

Collaborated with World Resource Institute (our client) to build a web application that performs raster analysis, ingests multiple Map Layer APIs, and visualizes data for their users to understand how climate impacts agriculture

Primary users were agricultural specialists and farmers for better understanding of climate impacts and factors

● Map Widget Node Application, Typescript, Microsoft Graph API/MSAL Authentication, Postman, AWS, Github Actions

Built a feature for Locana’s employee internal social media page that displays employee locations in a clustered style.

Implemented dynamic data pulling, automated refetch of updated information, and secure storage of data

● Locana Map Viewer React, React Context, Typescript, SASS, AWS, Maplibre, AWS

Build a web application to allow users to upload generic map data & visualize multiple data sets on a map at once.

Initiated the project and published it as an open source repo so more features can be added by the community later PROJECTS View All Projects on Github

● Timely: Won 2 Categories at UCSB Hackathon. Built a web app that maps an astronaut’s trajectory and allows them to mark ideal times to video chat with their loved ones, using Twilio tech. My contribution was the landing page, utilizing React Three Fiber and Drei to animate the 3D models. I also did all the user authentication & info storage with Auth0, NodeJS and OAuth2.

● Formula SAE C++: Gaucho Racing Club member aimed at building a car from scratch and competing in the end of academic year Formula SAE competition. I worked on the controls/dashboard, using the ILI9341_t3 library and PlatformIO.

● Billiards Simulation Python: Constructed a billiards simulation that heavily employs Numpy, Matplotlib, and Physics.

● Hangman Game: Used C and Socket Programming to create and host a hangman game server that can handle multiple players concurrently (multiple client requests at once). Additionally, I wrote the client code to allow players to send requests.

● Disney+ Clone: Built a completely mobile responsive Full Stack ReactJS web app clone of the Disney+ streaming platform with MERN Stack, employing MongoDB, Postman, Express, Firebase, Mongoose & Axios.

● Image Compression & Analysis: Leveraged Python and SVD decomposition to compress images (as matrices) by reducing the number of singular values. Applied Principal Component Analysis to find mean and unique features in human faces.

● Banking System: Built a C++ application with object oriented programming that simulates a banking system (open/close account, deposit/withdrawal, etc.). Gives the bank a data file where all accounts are stored and updated. AWARDS & HONORS

• Hackathon 2 Category Winner (190+ Participants) • UCSB College of Engineering Honors Program • Dean’s Honors (ENGR)
