Objective
To continue as a public servant where there is the greatest need. I have worked as an EMT-Basic level and Firefighter with my local community and bring experience in conflict resolution where my background and experience will be helpful in maintaining regulatory compliance, and orderly enforcement of protocols. It has been my modus operandi to seek out the challenging opportunities in my career, because I know that they provide the best situations to thrive in . Seven years of operating on all levels of Local Government presently with a brand new Engineering Department that has challenges with growth and storms that cause flooding issues in several troubled areas. I have experience playing Rugby with the Cape Fear Rugby Football Club since 1993 and in college prior to that, as well as fencing, and Mixed Martial Arts training in several formats, mostly for the application of Preventive of Aggressive Behavior, so I am on the field a voice of reason and have served in the role of coaching when needed. ( Rugby coaches are prone to wandering off in the midst of a tough season.) ● Working with a crew of 4-8 in pipe replacement projects.
● Submitting time sheets, providing information on Enterprise wide protocols.
● Conflict resolution between homeowners when we are working near their property, ensuring that code enforcement and safety measures are maintained. This can be a problem when we bring heavy equipment on a small residential cul de sac.
● Study and keep up to date on modern and ever changing building codes, the present growth in our community is incredible, we have doubled our population in the past 4 years.
● Provide weekly progress reports to the specific Project Engineers and maintain budgetary compliance and work schedule planning.
● Using mapping software as well as grading technology to keep things on the level. 2
● Scheduling and maintaining heavy equipment service maintenance, such as John Deere 210, several Bobcat, Caterpillar Skid steers, and 5 different sized excavators, all of these machines are brand new and most of these very expensive machines are operating with less than 100 hours on them.
● Keeping workers motivated since this is tough, “ In the trenches “ type work, we find that it is a highly reflective group that maintains a positive attitude, focused on the big picture.

Cape Fear Country Club- Golf Course Greenskeeper/Greenhouse Horticulturist
● Landscaping had become my second career sanctuary so I got this job because this is the best golf course in the area. Oldest existing Country Club in North Carolina !
● I supervised 9 workers in daily golf course maintenance tasks.
● Provided plants and seasonally appropriate floral arrangements to the Main Hall of the Club as well as operating a 50’ X40” greenhouse functioning year round.
● Reported to the Club Board of Directors to present budgets, work schedule coordination.
● 48-60 hours per week in Summer mostly I lived there. Salary $42000/year . June 1999-January 2005

I graduated from High School in 3 years and went directly to College. No degree however several relevant certificates, as well as ongoing Mental Health Fitness program training. Miller Motte Technical College - Massage & Bodywork Therapy Completed a nine month Diploma Program that involved taking a National Certification Test, which I later helped to restructure with the National testing review board. My input was a collaboration of over thirty Seasoned Therapists and assorted field related professionals. We worked by traveling to various parts of the Country and working with professional testing groups such as the Chauncey Group International LLC, that was recently merged with Polymetric Incorporated.
