PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

As a 2020 college graduate, I have a background in molecular biology research labs and a cytogenetic lab. The labs I have worked in prepared me to follow lab procedures thoroughly. My lab experience has taught me how to manage time whether it be working on multiple projects at once or many samples at a time. Along with being able to extract DNA from specimens and harvesting human tissue samples, a huge part of these processes is being able to properly prepare the reagents which sometimes include corrosive materials. Using these materials means having to pay close attention to detail to obtain accurate results. I take initiative in putting forth high quality work by using the skills I already possess and being open to learning what I am unfamiliar with. SKILLS

● Clear oral and written communication ● Analytical microscopy skills

● Time management ● Attentive while working with hazardous materials

● Collaborative in team settings ● Reagent and sample preparation

● Data entry ● Consistently follows routine lab procedures EXPERIENCE
