• Assignment 7(C++)
CSCI 241
This assignment required extensive knowledge and application of system libraries and complex functions in order to successfully incorporate Algorithm and execute it using a given input file.
• Assignment 10(SQL/PHP)
CSCI 330
This assignment required extensive use of both functionality as well as additional-flare in order to make the interface user-friendly. This program simulates a user or admin creating, selecting, adding, removing, sorting, or dropping movie-tickets and times from a queue.
• Assignment 8(Java)
CSCI 473
This project required to think outside of the box because not only was it an original creation of the programmer but also there was no set limitation on what was needed to be done with no direct program description. I ended up creating a small game program from scratch that incremented a score counter based on the number of clicks to an object and button and saved the highest-scores into a .txt file which could be accessed later.
Assignment 4 (UNIX/Linux)
CSCI 330
This project required the use of bash and shell commands to complete. This assignment allowed the user to create, edit, and remove the Makes, Models, Titles, and Years of automobiles to and from a database in UNIX. The project required the user to write a shell script to create, edit and view a simple database that contains automobile records. The shell script was to be done in Bourne shell syntax (i.e., bash), through the use of the command-line system used by the turing/hopper machines given through use in the course.
Assignment 3 (UNIX/Linux)
CSCI 330
This assignment tasked the programmer to
"Write a shell script that implements an interactive spell checker.". This assignment required critical analysis due to the program requiring both the discovery and correction of misspelled words or phrases within the program. While this assignment sounds simple at first upon beginning the project required manual search through the supplied text file as well as determining how the program would be able to automatically achieving the same correct outcome. Accounting Quantity/Quality Analysis (SQL)
This project tasked the programmer with collecting data from various PC's across the company, entering their parameters into the appropriate fields, and generating a list of results to determine whether their pricing was off for a list of days. Through analyzing the trends within, the programmer was to determine whether the amount shown matched what was recorded for that day by cross- referencing multiple queries within the company. These would later be sent to the Accounting Department for further analysis and review.
