Executive Director
Hired as first executive director of collaboration founded in 2004 and within the first year created and implemented a development and marketing plan to expand operations from a 6’X10’ cubicle to 1,400 square feet offices; rebuilt the Steering Committee to 15 members; developed budget with $400,000 + in funding requests. Co-founded the GOAT (Getting Our Act Together) national collaborative where CFJC continues to serve as weekly facilitator. Successfully held annual convenings in Washington, D.C. after initial national gathering in Oakland. Launched statewide Mothers Taking Action community-based California state sponsored peer nutrition project.

Appointed to institutionalize organization framework and processes and manage and oversee teams of economists. Expanded research and public awareness initiatives with diversification of funding methods. Reviewed the daily organizational and long term prospective alternative operations and ultimately oversaw the dismantling of the organization when funding sources were no longer available.
