Reported To: Barbara Perez (HFC/FTTH Design Supervisor Mobile: 787-***-**** Department: Access Network Planning Design & Construction Design Summary of Goals, Qualifications and skills:

• Performing this Job position as Access Coaxial/Fiber Optics Designer, a daily non- routine process is developing a FTTH/FHC MAP Project with a substantial variety and complex works applying the best practice company, client, project design, and drafting standards.

• The keymap presented for Design or modify existing HFC and/or fiber FTTH will be drawing or modifying layers, blocks, lines type (width, weight, scale, color) and annotations including internal properties (symbols, rotation, visual 3D or transparency) executed with AutoCAD 2022 on MDU projects or ArGIS Pro 3.0.3 in Aereal field.

• The main idea of the position will start verifying a checklist documentation and a Keymap submitted from the walkout Department. This Department has to present a pre- walkout inspection on the field to offer actual conditions of the existing plant. In my position, I will revise the preset map (QC revision) with the check list seeing any incomplete or incorrect information on the pre-design layouts presented in PDF.

• The QC revision will inform redlines (if any) on every detail considered out of the standard. In some cases, redlines will include wrong symbology or width lines in conflict with the layout legend, or miscalculation on the inventory on material to be proposed or infrastructural scale (NTS) and /or missed or fail to propose ducts, trench on the the Base map area if there’s no poles or existing ducts. The QC will also include redline on miscalculations presented on excel table. (i.e., calculation on drop or duct proposed)

• If the checklist is ready, and after QC passed, the next step is considered if the information in model, riser diagrams and reference photos included in the layout design if the design is a MDU. In which case will be completed with AutoCAD and the information of lines, layers, symbols and blocks to design, will include splice table

(Excel) and a Bill of material. (BOM)

• If the design of FTTH or FHC is developed on aerial field and /or combined UG, (i.e., with poles, strand or over lash on coaxial) the design will be developed in ArcGIS, but it needs to add more features on a base map, identifying the tie point (trunk and distance from OSP/OLT) and getting more individual sources, collect GEO data (i.e., catalog view symbology or expression from other departments on the ArcGIS Portal Group content) to produce and export a GIS data (.gdb) of this project aisled from the ArcGIS Server. The ArcGIS Online/Portal and a wide variety of pane sources and cloud-based tools will be necessary to perform visualizations, (query layers, styles, annotations) and then export the features to your local drive to start the design including layouts with map frame, internal documentation, (i.e., attribute table) and performing extraction to the splice table

/ BOM.

• The Design will be posted on the server with the final project Boundary with the Potential trunk splice /Tie points, nomenclature, cable routes color code or expressions, FATs boundary data and FDH boundary lines Pole material (steel /wood) X,Y marked point or WS84 coordinate expressions scrips on labeling properties area or added from geoprocessing on the data management tools to the Existing structure (FATs, poles, HP’s) to enhance the projects view and promote understanding it from a geospatial perspective on the construction and final installation on HP/BP.

Key Accountabilities:

• Analyze and take considerations on surrounding environments before design data on MDU buildings (FTTH/ HFC on Aerial/UG CAD) or Aerial/UG Construction (FTTH/ HFC with ArcGIS) to finalize network designs. (i.e., Near Projects, distance on OSP, OTDR to create or add Splice Documentation (Excel) refining all drawings.

• My Knowledge on the ArcGIS is also in the extraction of data of the Argis Server Portal editing/ creating /exporting features of catalog panes to to extract data to be added on MAP (i.e., poles, FO48- TR96, Strand, or UG ducts to be account and identified on the attribute table getting also the geofence WS84 in the area to be impacted to help the contractor/ Migration Dept /installers and saving time on the paste process on the Splicing table, This is performed with scripts designed on the Labeling property area with one single step to avoid writing all the GPS Data again on every symbology of FAT,FDH boundary lines, splice elements or cable route color or blocks, lines, symbol (i.e., Flush mount Pedestal, pit box, risers, poles ID / material located in the FTTH / HFC cable route.

• Responsible to collect field data, coordinates reference with Google Earth Pro.

• Offer recommendations about the aerial infrastructure, underground and Vertical Structures.

• Design complying with National Electrical Codes (NEC) and techniques of The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE).

• Assists in field surveys recollecting data on GIS or PTZ, Earth Pro to paste it to TEAM’s on a excel Tracker Synced) to propose cost estimates, inventories, material, and equipment ordering information, sizing various system components, coaxial, fiber optic and refining all drawings tracking of the ongoing projects and maintaining the Statistic or data records of the outside plant design network to Produce a Bill of Material. (BOM)

• Create a documentation process to address potential issues among technical staff during the installation process or upgrades working in close coordination with the engineering and field personnel to finish the project within the budget and stipulated time frame, budgets and project criteria for physical designs.

• Organize and maintain Geo database (GBD) of designs creating and produce all revisions of project drawings, plot files and platforms and software's: ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Lode Data, ARCFM, DHFC to maintains oversight of Contract workforce and confirm accurate workflow is being performed on all activities as per agreed contracts.

• Conducts final QC and plant verification to confirm accuracy of final as-built plant documentation on a final labor and material reconciliation according to Company Capital guidelines. Summary of Goals, Qualifications and skills:

• I started this role as a Contractor in Nov, 2021, promoted to a regular position in Feb.’22.

• As a Construction Project Inspector, I was Responsible for all phases of cable construction in a manner consistent with Liberty Cable policies, procedures, quality work standards, customer needs, and applicable local, state, and federal laws.

• In the 2022 period I was notified from my Manager as the only Inspector in a group of 10, reporting perfect and accurate GAS and Toll expense bills on to the SAP™ Concur™

• In 2022 my Supervisor authorized me to coach other inspectors partners on the reports of expenses to SAP™ Concur™ to complete accurate expense calculation excel sheets to be reported on PDF on the SAP™ Concur™.

• On Aug 16, 2021, I also proposed a letter to the RH dept. to extend the ATM Fleet Gas payment to be used on Electric Veh. (EV) users but in EV chargers on Inspection day Duty or in the night charge to be informed aa a Residencial electrical bill payment expense (excess of the normal bill) and proposed as differed payment on Gas fleet to use it on Lodging payment when the project assigned is far from home, avoiding 5 hrs of drive travel, risks on road, maintenance, tires, tolls, etc., and avoiding a Gas bill of

$3,440 monthly only based on 5 Inspectors.

• On less than one year I generated a new model ox excel sheet identifying micro trench services by contractors on UG construction to pass ducts for drops. This Excel sheet combine with CAD or XODO on PDF has provide a best accurate ID and BOS (bill of service on the track of “men Hours” payment, avoiding doble billing on Contractor payment. This action was alerted and detected on former Projects after some installation of trench was completed by third party on pos- Construction plan of the first project intention wasn’t completed on HP trench with or without request. My Essential Duties and Responsibilities as CPI:

• Monitors and reports on all phases of commercial construction projects.

• Supervising telecommunication construction projects from walk out to completion.

• Issue work to in-house and contractor crews. Review work on completion to ensure project is completed to business customer and municipal specifications.

• Perform pre-construction job walks with business customer representative. Provide job cost estimates based on contract pricing and scope of work, pre-construction field on ready and existing facilities owned by various power, telephone and CATV companies.

• Responsible for working with and handling contractors Job Cost estimates and crafting a bill of materials (BOM) for aerial and underground projects.

• Perform field inspections against invoices to ensure accuracy, ensure Liberty’s specifications are met, on material usage on vaults, pedestals, lockboxes, and other enclosures.

• Monitors and verifies contractor compliance of safety procedures (OSHA, SCDOT and NESC standards, as documented in the Liberty Cable Construction Standards..

• Responsible for marking Liberty’ Network Plant by Government Agency’s (Excavations Center) procedure request.

• Responsible for Commercial Site Surveys, coordination with building owners and or third parties building-entry, measures, cable routing and eventual Equipment Colocation on customer premises.

• Evaluate and handle the replacement, upgrade, and new build of cable plant.

• Responsible for coordinating work between company employees, utility companies, and local governments for construction activities in a cable television system.

• Responsible for hazard environmental of future plant installation and equipment location.

• Evaluate and supervise the replacement, upgrade, and new build of cable plant.

• Project coordination and inspection of the entire construction process to include preliminary site reviews, work in progress and post construction inspection.

• Perform field engineering detailing the layout and proposed locations. (such as node locations, power supplies, taps and amplifier locations)

• Draft field layout information detailing footage, equipment needed and customer feeds. Submit to and review with the design department. Obtain necessary permits. (i.e., Street, right-of-way, railroad)

Achievements in this position:

An effort to be more effective on field inspection and Fast response on AutoCAD to transfer PDF layout on Plot, I decide to avoid the print and transfer the DWG file on Autodesk for a tablet in the 2021 period. I’ve programed my own startup user interface on CAD profile. This is a layer interface preset to read PDF to DWG on Autodesk on tables exporting or hiding extra line not necessary on some inspection process or departments. to get focus on color layer lines on screen. The Priority of this idea was saving time and PLOT paper. But after sharing my PDF with color only on 7 of 45 layers in PDF, this action was used for installers and sale Dept, and splicer techs., saving less plotter print paper/less Company fleet gas and use of tolls to get prints on remote plotter service when the PDF file was exported on a Tablet (with Autodesk) and be ready on the field inspection. This layer state (.lsl) was programed in AutoCAD will focus a better contrast compared from a simple B&W color on the plotter print, to enhance the projects view on the Contractor, Field inspector /installers.
