• Valuation analysis, including acquisitions, divestitures, and greenfield development projects, primarily focusing on non-commodity transactions (i.e., solar, battery/storage, wind, biomass, geothermal, etc.), either participating independently or through joint ventures and strategic alliances.

• Responsible for structured tax equity investing (including modeling partnership flip and sale-leaseback structures) and debt for financing greenfield projects.

• Responsible for the evaluation of terms and conditions for debt and equity financing, including negotiating term sheets, operating agreements, PPA’s, PSA’s, guarantees, and providing other due diligence support, including documentation.

• Structure complex non-commodity and commodity transactions ensuring a high degree of accuracy and appropriate data capture to report ongoing positions and financial value of the overall portfolio to internal and external parties.

• Apply quantitative techniques to the valuation and management of power physical assets and derivatives such as tolls, heat rate options, shaped products, PPA from wind, hydro, and solar generating assets.

• Responsible for VaR analysis (including variations such as CFaR, EaR, and expected shortfall), identifying appropriate risk factors, and accounting for non-linear instruments.

• Manage credit exposure and capital through adjustments of credit limits, collateral requirements, netting agreements, and other risk management techniques, incorporating metrics such as PFE, LGD, and CVA to proactively manage counterparty risk. Camber Energy, Inc., (formerly Lucas Energy until renamed in 2017), Houston, Texas April 2009 – October 2014 Manager, Financial Planning & Strategy

Responsibilities included supporting the CFO and the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to help implement all aspects of Camber’s vision, strategy, business model, and provide financial & operating performance to all stakeholders of the firm, including oral and written communications and presentations. • Responsible for the 5-year plan, annual budget, and monthly reporting, including commentary, KPI’s, and variance analysis,

(i.e., identifying areas of opportunity or concern); responsible for maintaining an understanding of the current marketplace, including the capital markets, and updating the long-range plan as needed.

• Manage financial and operational analysis including asset characterization, portfolio valuation analysis, and price sensitivities, including the effects of derivatives (ASC 815, formerly FAS 133).

Verdun Oil Company, LLC (acquired EP Energy, LLC in 2022), Houston, Texas July 2008 – April 2009 Principal Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis Responsibilities included playing a lead role in the coordination and development of the Long-Range Plan and to be a first point of contact of planning and strategy for senior management (all requests originate here). Other responsibilities included:

• Lead the financial planning process by providing capital and cost forecasting analytics, including variance analysis, KPI’s and commentary.

• Perform lead role in coordinating all planning activities with engineering, field operations, foreign offices, accounting, tax, treasury, investor relations, and senior management.

• Lead ad hoc valuation analysis and commentary as needed to both internal and external constituents (i.e., senior management, Treasury, Financial Reporting, Investor Relations, rating agencies, and investment bankers.).

• Lead the quarterly Board of Directors meetings, quarterly earnings calls, annual investment analyst presentations, and other ad hoc presentations, including talking points and commentary. Occidental Petroleum Corporation (acquired Anadarko Petroleum Corp. in 2019), Houston, Texas March 2006 – March 2008 Staff Corporate Development Analyst, Acquisitions & Divestitures Responsibilities included screening, ranking, and performing due diligence for potential corporate acquisitions in accordance with company strategy and directives. Ongoing portfolio optimization using an asset characterization approach to rank properties into “sell” and “keep” assets. Other responsibilities included:

• Monetize non-core assets through financial structures such as Volumetric Production Payment’s, Drill Funds, Joint Ventures, and MLP’s.

• Provide extensive financial and economic modeling, primarily utilizing a NAV approach evaluated against then prevailing purchase price multiples, Economic Value Added (EVA), Ability-to-pay (ATP), and Sum of the Parts (SOTP), utilizing stochastic modeling when appropriate.

• Assist with Corporate Planning and field operations to develop proforma financial statements and cash flow projections.

• Maintain a working relationship with Treasury, Corporate Planning, Financial Reporting, Tax, Project/Asset Engineers, Field Operations, Foreign Offices, Legal, Investor Relations, Investment Bankers, and other third-party consultants.

• Develop corporate screening tools using both financial and operational metrics to rank potential acquisitions using public, private, and mosaic data.

List of Accomplishments

• Aided in the 2006 acquisition of Kerr-McGee and Western Gas Resources in two separate all cash transactions totaling $21.1B plus the assumption of $2.2B in debt.

• Upon completion of the acquisitions, aided optimizing the new portfolio through asset sales totaling $14.0B in after tax proceeds; prepared the roadshow presentations for investors and coordinated the due diligence process in establishing virtual data rooms to support the divestment process.

• Led the implementation of Hyperion Strategic Planning Software, fully integrating acquisition and divesting “what if” scenarios with corporate planning functionality.

• Provided analysis to the executive committee to reduce downside price risk and fund $9B in capex during 2008 – 2009, resulting 900MMMBtu/d hedged during 2008 and opportunistically hedging an additional 600MMMBtu/d during 2009 utilizing 3-way costless collars.

NatWest, plc (acquired ABN-AMRO Bank, N.V. in 2007), Houston, Texas September 2004 – March 2006 Assistant Vice President, Credit Portfolio Management - Integrated Energy Responsibilities included the day-to-day management of a debt portfolio primarily related to the diversified energy industry (E&P, midstream, gas storage, power, etc.), including IG and NIG, loans, derivatives, and cash management. Other responsibilities included:

• Manage transaction deal approval process including preparing credit approval memos in partnership with relationship and product partners and suggesting approval recommendations to senior risk managers. Transactions included refinancings, ERBL lending, acquisition financings, leveraged financings, recapitalizations, DIP financings, derivatives, and securitizations.

• Collaborate with deal team members to develop a credit/capital structure appropriate for the risk profile of the client. Analyze and negotiate loan covenants and other key loan terms with the client as part of the deal team.

• Co-manage troubled assets with workout colleagues, including valuation analysis, amendment approvals, and periodic credit review.

• Perform other assignments as required, such as portfolio reviews, stress testing, and internal audit reviews.
