Responsible for the inspection of all drainage work for conformity with plans and specifications.
Inspection and monitor accomplishments related to drainage works including the installation of deck drains and downspouts, laying of culverts and construction of catch basins and manholes among others.
Prepare site observations, if deemed necessary for the construction
Prepare and submit daily construction reports.
Assist in reviewing/checking of As-built drawings
Perform other duties assigned by superiors from time to time.

MAIN PROJECT FEATURES : Project assessments on the quality of construction and compliance with plans and specifications of both ongoing and completed Road and Bridges and other Infrastructure Projects of DPWH District Offices within Luzon. Fifty (50) projects every quarter of the year.

PRINCIPAL POSITION HELD : Jr. Civil Engineer (Quality Assurance Consultant)
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Assist the Senior Civil Engineer in the regular inspection/assessment of projects four (4) times a year.
Assist the Senior Civil Engineer in the investigation of complained projects.
Assist the Senior Civil Engineer in checking materials quantity and quality construction methods compliance.
Conduct appropriate non-destructive tests for all structures, when necessary, e.g., core drilling for PCCP and ACP to verify the actual thickness and strength of in-placed concrete and the quality of asphalt mix based on approved design mix and job-mix formula, respectively.
Verify materials on-site by submission of samples at BR’s laboratory to check compliance with the specification requirements.
Assist the Senior Civil Engineer in the submission of a detailed inspection/assessment report stating the summary of defects and deficiencies thru the web based QAU Reporting System of the DPWH
Assist the Senior Civil Engineer in the preparation of the Investigation Report with corresponding analysis of findings and recommendations, including an action memorandum to be submitted to the office of the University.
Responsible for monitoring recommended course of action on the defects/deficiencies forwarded to the concerned implementing office.
Review and evaluate project documents prior to inspection and assessment.
Assist the Head Consultant in the preparation of the Completion Report and all required reports.
Perform all other items works not specifically mentioned but which are necessary and essential to successfully comply with the terms of the contract of QA Consulting Services.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsible for taking material quantity take-off & estimates at the site.
Responsible for forecasting activities prior to meeting such schedules.
Monitors actual quantity variation to contact quantities and scopes.
Responsible for lay-out of the possible coordinates using the surveying instrument SOKIA SET5X.
Preparing the coordinates/datum layout plan and setting it out on site.
Responsible for making sub-con invoices as per progress accomplishments.
Responsible for reviewing shop drawing for proper implementation of projects.
Direct coordination to consultants regarding project progress and developments of the project
Coordinate with SAPMT, consultants, inspectors, sub-contractors, and third-party agencies concerning project requirements.
Coordinates with all disciplines regarding project technicalities, problem-solving and progress developments for the project.
Responsible for reviewing/checking Final Quantity submittals.
Direct responsibility for the implementation of works and overall supervision of civil, architectural, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and communication works.
Reviewing and anticipating materials needed on site.
Preparing a two-week look ahead prior to implementing at the site.
