-Duties include scanning Customer ID labels to identify orders
-Identifying that orders are complete and correct
-Delivering orders by promised times to customers homes and making them aware that their delivery has been made as promised.
-Rescanning labels at the location and dispersing the order in the appropriate place noted by the customer
-Showing proof of delivery with photos and then alerting the customer with either a call, text or direct contact per their notes to confirm drop off
-Some duties include shopping and delivery an order for the customer based on their specific needs and requests, and if a product cannot be located to communicate with the customer prior to fulfilling the order and then proceeding to package the order and deliver to the address listed along with any instructions noted by the customer.
-Duties also include batched orders of up to 22 packages which need to be scanned and delivered to all customers by a cut off time each trip, and proof of delivery must be acquired as well as notifying the customer that their order has arrived.
-As being a sub-contractor we are scored on our amount of deliveries and a system based off of metrics for our performance in order to maintain our position. I Currently am over 1,100 deliveries with a customer rating of 4.9 and all other metrics are in the green level of meeting or exceeding expectations.
-My favorite part of this job has been meeting customers and helping them out with whatever I can to make them smile, to receive good customer ratings and hear the feedback makes me work harder to improve or smile that I have done something good for someone.
