As a Design Engineer who has utilized a “hands on” approach, I feel that my skills encompass the full spectrum of the engineering field. Not only am I trained and proficient in various CAD systems such as Catia V4/V5 and AutoCAD, I am well versed on the manufacturing end of the business.
I have developed detailed project proposals and presented recommendations to senior partners, such as design improvements and cost reductions. I was instrumental in standardizing working drawings and specification sheet formats across subcontractors to improve communication. I have applied OSHA and EPA requirements and prepared documents to support the permit and inspection process. I am familiar with the ISO 9001:2000 Quality System, and was involved in implementing the “Just in Time” manufacturing process.
