Read jobs specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Set up machine and other equipment required to be running during assigned shift. Start up and operate the extrusion equipment according to approved parameters for the items to be manufactured. Adjust tooling as required to produce product that meets the specifications. Inspect product according to approved methods and standards utilizing approved equipment. Observe machine operation to detect work-piece defects of machine malfunction. Measure work-piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation. Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, and work-pieces. Purge, shut down and clean all equipment according to approved methods, and remove tooling in preparation for the next work order to be processed. Collect and package product according to approved standards, and deliver to the next station listed on the work order. Using a RF Scanner. Complete and submit all completed paperwork or electronic date entry. Operate and maintain forklift in a safe and efficient manner using work instructions, visual management and compute interface. Transfer finished products to staging or storage areas. Utilize forklift for moving inventory and High-Reach forklift for storing products on storage racks up to 1-5 levels. Print and scan Bills of loading for all finished products using computer interface and RF Scanner.
