Dear Sir/Madam:

Please take into consideration my request to be evaluated for a management position at your company. With over 25 years of management experience and 30 years of warehouse experience, I feel I have the qualifications that you are seeking in a candidate. The following may be of some interest to you:

Fast learner: I started as a production supervisor at Compac Industries, Inc., but was quickly assigned to the Q.C. Lab as a supervisor when they learned I could easily track all approved, questionable, and rejected material through self-incorporated computer data storage.

Fast performer: As Team Leader of Mercedes-Benz USA, I managed the entire inbound process (receiving, stockkeeping, location administration) where while all auto parts were to be stored within 3-4 days I accomplished this goal within 2 days.

Exact: When performing inventory counts at Isolatek, there were no variances to report, with the exception of bulk material in silo storage (due to varying densities). At Mercedes-Benz USA I issued dozens of cycle counts daily that were completed by end of business day for next day reconciliation.

Dedicated: As Q.C. Supervisor at Compac, I cancelled my vacation with my fiancé because two other lab technicians were out due to injury and early vacation. At AlliedSignal, Inc., I have worked as a backup Shift Supervisor while performing my duties as a Batchmaking Supervisor. At Isolatek, I supervised two shifts when the first shift supervisor was on medical leave for three months. At L’Oreal USA I managed both the production floor and the warehouse when supervisors were not available for various reasons.

Punctual: Maintained perfect attendance record at all previous employers.

Whenever a task was needed to be carried out, whether it was related to quality control, manufacturing, distribution, or even sample requests, I was selected to complete the job because I had enough knowledge of the entire operation to fulfill the requirements of the task at hand. The Executive Vice President of Compac Industries noted in my performance record “… he has become a tremendous asset to the company.”

I am more than willing to sell my future to a business organization for a chance to learn and grow, as I help you to grow. One final note: if you are looking for someone that can make a difference in your company, then I am the person for you. Thank you for your attention.

Sincerely,

Raul Calixto, Jr.
