As the lead developer I am responsible for the refactoring of the DACM-MIS platform which provides data regarding DOD and military personnel, billets and training requirements for various these billets and tracking the completion of required training. Data is acquired from various DOD sources and military organizations. The data is imported into an Oracle platform from a variety of xml and csv files with complex schemas. Prior to the data being passed into a production environment, it is validated through an exhaustive and rigorous process to ensure the highest possible accuracy with multiple processes to ensure bad data is not injected into the production environment. The Report platform uses SAP Business Objects to generate Charts, Spreadsheets and CSV Files for output. There is a web interface built using ASP.Net with a microservice architecture. The current codebase exceeds 120 separate projects.

Legal/Legislative Contributions

From 2004 to 2014 Member of State Legislative Committee “Family Court Interventions Task Force”. Drafted legislation to mitigate the adversarial construct of the Family Court System in favor of a rebuttable presumption for shared parenting and other legislation to remedy the abuses of attorneys and judges inflicted on Hawaii’s families.

2008 Successfully argued as a “Pro se litigant” before the Hawaii Supreme Court for and established a new exception to the “Mootness Doctrine”. This test introduced the “Collateral-Consequences Exception”. It is now being cited across the U.S. in case law as an important legal precedent with respect to the problem of false allegations of abuse as a means to obstruct shared child custody and parental rights.
