Chief People & Culture Officer, Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas & West Pasco Counties

August 2019 – Present

●Manages the affiliate’s benefits programs including health insurance coverage, 401K program, worker’s compensation and all related programs. Regularly uses data analytics to address benefit utilization.

●Coordinates and conducts the new employee onboarding process and presents benefits presentations to ensure employees gain an understanding of benefit plans and enrollment provisions.

Conduct training with all staff to integrate the culture code in all aspects of their work lives and be a leader in the inclusion space.

●Oversees payroll function for the affiliate to include updating employee information such as salary increases, deduction changes, etc. through the Paylocity platform.

●Handled all aspects of COVID-19 protocols and status of affiliate representation as it relates to COVID-19. Makes sure all COVID-19 affiliate policies are up-to-date and relayed to staff.

●Administer annual review process utilizing current HRIS vendor Paylocity and advise on salary items based on market trends and salary surveys from Habitat International. Make recommendations as necessary.

●Maintains demographic information in a format that allows for quick and easy access to DEI requests.

●Conducts annual Stay Interviews at each employee’s anniversary to stay in touch with all staff from an HR lens.

●Handle all Employee Relations items including coaching supervisors, harassment issues, discipline guidance and contractual separation agreements including non-compete agreements.

●Conducts exit interviews with employees who have voluntarily terminated.
