QUALITY CONTROL SHIPPING AND RECEIVING SUPERVISING ELECTRONIC TRACKING SYSTEMS CENTRAL DISTRIBUTION MAIL CENTER WAREHOUSE SAFETY WAREHOUSE & CLERICAL

● Responsible for other tasks related to placing purchase orders, receiving inventory, tracking and reconciling inventory balances, and selecting product and supplies.

● Analyze, troubleshoot, and recommend solutions to inventory discrepancies.

● Reconcile and analyze data and processing equipment into and out of the inventory.

● Conduct trailer inspections on all inbound and outbound trailers prior to loading and during unloading.

● Responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting customer products in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, productivity and accuracy.

● Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing.

● Responsible for the logistical processing of customer orders, including coordination with vendors, sales staff, customer service representatives, billing representatives, warehouse and shippers.

● Solves practical problems and deals with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

● Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. FORKLIFT SPECIALIST

● Prepare merchandise by rearranging or shifting cases for Government receivers to accurately count.

● Transport merchandise and operating supplies to designated holding areas.

● Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and other tasks to maintain a clean and safe Environment.

● Meet all OSHA related requirements under 29 CFR 1910.78 to include use of steel-toed boots when on the job and hard-hat when using High-Lift.

● Complete daily preventative maintenance list for forklift and other mechanical equipment.

● Verify inventory by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.

● Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.

● Clean and maintain supplies, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

● Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.

● Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.

● Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.

● Dispose of damaged or defective items, or return them to vendors.

● Drive trucks in order to pick up incoming stock or to deliver parts to designated locations.

● Offload merchandise and move to designated areas by use of forklift, pallet jack or other manual means. Employment History:
