• Performs computer aided drafting activities with general supervision utilizing software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc. as required to convert basic customer drawings to Coorstek drawings for new and existing product revisions; performs engineering calculations required to properly configure drawings including pre and post fired dimensions.

• create Bill of Materials (BOM’s) and/or routings, generating costing information for incoming or re-occurring orders through understanding of manufacturing processes.

• Assists engineers or other technical personnel in the design of processes, products, design changes, process improvements, product formulations or equipment by working on segments of development projects either independently or in a team setting as required.

• Works with engineers to recommend solutions to customers or manufacturing to improve production methods and quality of product; participating on teams while researching root cause analysis, scrap issues and other technical issues.

• Works closely with Trade Compliance and local personnel involved in export/import activity ensuring all Company and customer confidential information and/or intellectual property are handled per Corporate Trade Compliance guidelines.
