Role Purpose:

Supervises and carry out repair and maintenance of hotel equipments and machineries including chillers and all related air conditioning equipment, heat exchangers, blower, pumps, piping and components, emergency generator sets, electrical installations, electronic appliances, TV, Telephones, firefighting equipment and kitchen equipment. Ensure that maintenance and repair work carried out confirms to sound and accepted engineering and standard practices. Responsibilities:

1. Participates in the inspection, repair, maintenance and overhaul of all hotel equipment’s and related accessories;

2. Diagnoses and analyzes causes of troubles and malfunction of equipment, work procedures by studying instruction manuals and blue prints and gathers information regarding performance of equipment before actual breakdown;

3. Secures and releases tag clearances from operation or technicians for repair and maintenance purposes; observes test run and performance of newly overhauled or repaired equipment. 4. Closely coordinates with the operations group and kitchen regarding equipment operational status for immediate support.

5. Assists the Corporate Chief Engineer in the supervision, coordination and control of work by engineering contractors and ensures that all in-house contracted work conforms to sound and accepted engineering standard practices, safety and completed on specified time. 6. Responds and makes available for any calls by superior or Colleagues during emergency trouble or calamity; stays in the hotel to aid in emergency trouble shooting and Operation. 7. Making daily reports, attending briefing with the management and giving briefing to my staff. EDUCATION:
