STATEMENT OF INTEREST AND MOTIVATION
I do have the right educational background and relevant professional experience in Psychiatry and Mental health and Psychosocial Support Area of Position on two dynamic organizations of which recent are exclusively in INGOs (now in International Medical Corps and before in, Plan International (MHPSSC),JRS as (MHPSSC) and Ambo university as Mental Health Specialist and Lecture ) for last more than 7 years; Up to present in different Emergency Response Reduction Projects and Developmental Program, IDP and Host Communities Projects in hardship area and different multi-Cultural communities in different Donor Grants like (UNOCHA, UNICEF, USAID and OFDA).

Prepare and train MHNT mental health officers and community mobilizers. And facilitate mental health case management, follow-up, and mental health promotion.
Provide training for staff and volunteers on topics related to PSS as relevant to their situation, sector and role such as on Protection, PFA,
Child-Friendly Spaces, Psychosocial Awareness and house/ tent visits, Prevention of gender-based violence, mental health; prepare training reports and advise on ways such trainings can be continuously improved.
Support the systemization of practices that ensure the care, protection and wellbeing of staff and volunteers.
Adapt, develop and disseminate context specific and tailored training material.
Assess and screen patients by conducting psychiatric evaluations, including interviews, medical histories, physical exams, observations, and psychological testing
Analyze data and results of assessments to diagnose patients
Prescribe and administer medications according to diagnosis
Monitor patients to determine efficacy and potential side effects of medications
Develop a treatment plan, measure progress against the plan, and make adjustments as needed
Provide crisis intervention as needed
