Position: Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities in execution of contract which include:

Experience in design of power equipment such as circuit breaker, specification, and installation of HV transformers, switchgear, and other transmission substation equipment.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of: a)low voltage (415V) and high voltage (11kV) cables b)11kV main intake station, 2 Ring 1 Tee substation, 1100V/415V transformer up to 1500kVA, and low voltage switchboard up to 2500A c)3c/185mm2 11kV network distribution cables and 415V low voltage cables d)Busbar duct, sub switchboards and Distribution boards

Monitor work progress on site to ensure that projects are completed on time.

Review electrical layout and single line drawing.

Preparation of progress report on site, attend site meetings and technical meeting on site.

Preparation of submission of progress claim and final account for projects.

Prepare shop drawing layout for generator proposal that required on site.

Ensuring that all worker follow company's work site instruction.

Supervising and monitoring electrical installation on site.

Assessment of Sub–contractor claims.

Inventory control of store materials.

Report to Managing Director on all the aspects of contract works of different project handle.

Attend M&E testing and commissioning of High voltage and Low voltage and ELV system

Participate with the project team for the safety review when required.

Provide assurance during Electrical construction and participate/witness the testing when required.

Develop work plan with contractors, operations, maintenance and all relevant parties for execution with minimum interruption to operating plant. Interface with Operations, Technologists, Engineering, Maintenance & contractors / vendors for smooth execution.

Attend FAT and Functional testing to ensure electrical equipment’s are meeting the design intent & project premise.
