Summary of Duties: I joined the school as part of an Agile team recruited to provide rapid improvement in the academic performance, particularly for the students being prepared for the GCSEs. I worked with some teachers to provide data and feedback focused teaching experience. It involved constant collaboration with students within a group setting, to promote learning together and assist with identification of potential hindrance to learning, while making frequent improvements to the teaching plan. This innovative approach led to a substantial cumulative increase to over 95% pass rate of students in the just concluded GCSE mock examinations from 80% in the previous year. Summary of Duties: I provided tutoring in all core science subject areas to students in a mixed gender public school.
