Create expectations and assignments for resident care, and ensure completion.

Maintain effective communication with families for updates and changes in status.

Communicate resident needs and care levels to outside agencies as needed..

Monitor and complete wound care as ordered.

Train new employees, nurses and unit clerks.

Support resident physicians and other providers in the medical suite.

Conduct audits of the medication carts and resident records.

Abide by the organization’s code of conduct in the performance of their duties.

Perform other related duties, and provide support to other departments as needed.
