Salvation Experience: I received Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior on September 23, 1979 at Madison Ave. Baptist Church in Maryville, Tennessee. Two months later, I answered God's call to enter the Gospel Ministry.
Philosophy of Ministry: Any Biblical ministry must first have a high regard for the Scripture. This must be followed by a three-fold ministry emphasis: Exaltation of the Savior, Edification of the saints, and Evangelism of the sinner. I believe these elements constitute a balanced ministry approach. I also hold to the doctrines as outlined in the BAPTIST FAITH AND MESSAGE adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000.
