2020 – 2022 EVOLUTIONS HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS

Consultant for Evolutions Healthcare Systems, a national PPO network, contracting

physician groups, surgery centers, urgent care centers, diagnostic facilities, home health facilities and hospitals so members can see providers as in network. Was able to recruit over 250 entities during my tenure with Evolutions Healthcare.

2019 – 2020 CONSTANTIA HEALTHCARE

Consultant for Constantia Healthcare, working on behalf of TriWest Healthcare Alliance in order to contract urgent care facilities under the TriWest PC3 program so that Veterans could be seen at an urgent care facility, rather than them having to go to the VA for urgent care needs. Was able to recruit over 200 facilities in the State of Texas during my employment.

Senior Network Development Executive for the largest PPO network in the United States, based out of New York City. Handled national and local accounts nationwide. Had a total of 130 national accounts that I handled personally. My responsibilities for these accounts included handling claim issues, contracting renegotiations, fee schedule questions/concerns, running of claim utilization reports on a quarterly basis, submission of updated rosters to ensure the integrity of our data. Network Services Coordinator – Responsible for coordinating and conducting educational seminars for individual and group providers as well as hospital administrators in the state of Florida for Fee for Service PPO and PCP products. Contracted with PHO, IPA and Individual Physicians. Pre-screened all in-coming applications for compliance with Florida statutes and PHCS’ credentialing guidelines. Handled all questions regarding the networks including physician contracting and fee reimbursement information. Maintained a professional relationship with physician groups and our insurance carriers in the state of Florida by providing responsive, efficient follow-through on claims resolution and assistance with our pre-certification process.

1993-1996 PRIVATE HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS, INC. (PHCS)

Administrative Assistant – Responsible for the preparation of hospital contracts and amendments for 36 hospitals in the network. Handled customer inquiries and complaints regarding doctors in the PHCS network. Worked closely with approximately 18 insurance companies under the PHCS umbrella to be sure clients’ needs were met. Prepared monthly reports to the regional vice president and updated budgetary reports and monthly expenses for dissemination to upper management. Required computer skills included Microsoft Word and Excel.

1982 – 1983 QUALITY INNS INTERNATIONAL

General Manager of two Quality Inns in Tampa, Florida having 250 rooms and full-service meeting and conference facilities. Successfully implemented front desk training procedures, restructured housekeeping department, increased restaurant revenues through enhanced and appealing menu, revised sales and marketing plan to emphasize tour group and business clientele. Revenues in the 3rd and 4th fiscal quarters exceeded 20% over the prior year’s identical quarters. Named twice as Quality Inns International Manager of the Quarter.

1981 – 1982 QUALITY INN EAST

General Manager of a 100-room property with restaurant, lounge and meeting room facilities, including a conference theater. Implemented programs with the help of a dependable staff which turned around this property from being considered for sale by Quality Inns to a successful operation that tripled its annual profits in one year.
