Infection Control Coordinator (2/21-present)

Responsible for monitoring and controlling cases of hospital-acquired infections.

This involves reviewing microbiology data, initiating appropriate testing and isolation policies and procedures, managing employee exposures and illnesses, assisting in hospital-wide safety rounds, conducting infection control orientation for new employees, providing consultation to all departments regarding infection control issues and policies, and maintaining detailed records.

Liaison with Cochran School of Nursing to maintain current knowledge of infection control.

Exposure Control Officer, responsible for implementing new OSHA mandated regulations.
