Job Title: Amusement and Recreation Attendants – Amusement Park OES Code/OES Title: 39-3091, Amusement and Recreation Attendants Duties:

Perform variety of attending duties at amusement facility. May schedule use of recreation facilities, maintain and provide equipment to participants of sporting events or recreational pursuits, or operate amusement rides, food concessions, game concessions and/or novelty concessions.

Sell tickets and collect fees from customers. Provide information about facilities, entertainment options, and rules and regulations. Keep informed of shut-down and emergency evacuation procedures. Direct patrons to rides, seats, or attractions. Monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures, or arrange for the removal of unruly patrons. Record details of attendance, sales, receipts, reservations, or repair activities. Maintain inventories of equipment, storing and retrieving items and assembling and disassembling equipment as necessary. Tend amusement booths in park performing duties, such as conducting games, photographing patrons, or awarding prizes. Provide assistance to patrons entering or exiting amusement rides. Clean vehicles, rides, booths, facilities, or grounds. Inspect equipment to detect wear and damage and perform minor repairs, adjustments, or maintenance tasks, such as oiling parts. Verify, collect, or punch tickets before admitting patrons to venues, such as amusement parks and rides. Fasten safety devices for patrons, or provide them with directions for fastening devices. Announce or describe amusement park attractions to patrons to entice customers to games and other entertainment. Minimum Education Required: None.

Work Hours & Days: 40 hours.

Monday through Sunday, scheduled shi and work days vary. Weekends and Holidays Required.

Work schedule varies widely, typically 40 H/W Wed-Sun, 1:00PM to 10:00PM.

Anticipated Start Date of Job Opportunity: April 1, 2023 Anticipated End Date of Job Opportunity: October 1, 2023 Other requirements: The job requires the applicant to be qualified, ready, willing, able, and available to perform during the entire employment period at the designated worksites; and to follow workplace rules.

FOUR: Geographic Area of Intended Employment:

FIVE: Wage that the employer is offering:

$13.25 hour / $19.88 hour overtime

Pay raises are based on merit, length of time on job, quantity and quality of work produced, dependability and adherence to procedures and policies.

(The wage offer will equal or exceed the highest of the prevailing wage or the Federal, State or Local minimum wage in effect during employment).

SIX: Overtime:

Overtime expected and optional and will be paid as per state and local law.

SEVEN: On the Job Training?

On-the-job training will be provided.

EIGHT: Wage Computation.

The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.

NINE: Pay Frequency:

Wages will be paid on a weekly basis.

TEN: Board, Lodging, other facilities, including fringe benefits. On an op onal basis, employer will assist those employees who opt in, in securing housing. Payment ($140.00 per week) for this housing will be paid directly by the worker to the landlord.

ELEVEN: Deductions from Pay:

Employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law. In addition, the employer intends to make the following deductions from the worker’s paycheck which are not required by law: NONE

TWELVE: Initial transportation and subsistence.

If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will, consistent with applicable regulatory requirements, arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence. Daily subsistence will be provided either at a rate of $14.00 per day during travel without receipts to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts or the applicable USDOL mandated fee in effect on the date of travel. THIRTEEN: Return transportation and subsistence.

Workers will be provided with or reimbursed for outbound transportation and subsistence consistent with applicable regulatory requirements if the employee completes the period of employment or is dismissed from employment before the end of the period of employment. If transportation is provided, it will be by common carrier land or air conveyance at the option of the employer. Daily subsistence will be provided either at a rate of $14.00 per day during travel without receipts to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts or the applicable USDOL mandated fee in effect on the date of travel. FOURTEEN: Daily Transportation to and from Worksite. No transportation required nor provided.

FIFTEEN: Reimbursement to H-2B worker of visa and other related fees.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). SIXTEEN: Tools, Supplies and Equipment

The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all uniforms, tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
