Responsible for safety and DOT compliance for over 60 drivers in the Intermodal/Drayage trucking industry. Other responsibilities are monitoring driver safety performance. Building safety, including emergency response procedures. Fire alarm, emergency lighting and fence and gate security for the yard. Monitor 11 cameras throughout the yard and building for security and safety of the drivers and customer product.

Responsible for all empty container lift operation and yard truck operations. Responsible for inventory of all equipment on the yard. This position also involved customer service functions as well. BACKHAUL COORDINATOR, UNFI

Scheduled backhauls pick up appointments for over 50 drivers. Tracked driver’s progress during routes to ensure they make appointments and reschedule as needed. This position also involved a lot of customer service functions. As a backhaul coordinator for UNFI we scheduled appointments for our drivers to pick up products from our customers that we distributed for them. We basically supported the logistics supply chain by maintaining the inventory needed to fill customer orders.

INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST, UNFI

Responsible for isle audits daily. Pulling of short-dated products daily and loading them on to the food bank truck. Fixing reported inventory issue’s daily. We also maintained our inventory to ensure that the logistics supply chain was fluent and that we had the product necessary to fill customer orders as needed. WAREHOUSE LEAD, UNFI

As a warehouse lead, I was responsible for monitoring product of about 100 selectors and loaders on 2nd shift. We tracked cases per hour selected to ensure all selectors were up to speed. We also tracked pallets/trucks loaded per hour for the loaders as well. We also trained selectors and equipment operators. Coached all warehouse employees on best procedures and safety pertinent to their positions. I was also a lead in our repack 2

department for about a year. In this department we broke down product from the case from and sold the product in piece form, which was repacked in totes for the customer’s order

PREVIOUS EMPLOYEEMENT EXPERIENCE

Prior to my warehouse and safety positions listed above I was blessed with a few sales positions which I learned a lot of my customer service skills from. I worked about 5 years in the automotive sales industry along with about 2 years in the mortgage industry as a mortgage loan originator. Both positions, as different as they were, were detrimental in teaching me the majority of my customer service skills. EDUCATION

ACTIVITIES

My wife and I are members of the House of Prayer in Ellettsville IN. We have been members of the Church since 2013. We joined the Unchained Gang Jail and Prison Ministry in 2018. We are extremely dedicated to this ministry and love all the people that we work in this ministry with. This has been a real game changer for us. We are very excited to see what the future holds.
