Collaborated cross-functionally with UI team to conceive and design a context menu component for system objects.
Enhanced user experience in MATLAB Online by introducing 3 system object actions to the right-click “New” menu, using JavaScript and Dojo Toolkit.
Revamped the layout of the system object property inspector, elevating its structure using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Ensured the projects were ready to release in MATLAB 2024a by applying standard Agile development practices, and implementing over 30 unit tests and 10 integration tests through MATLAB, QUnit, and Karma.
Software Algorithm Engineer Intern, SUPCON, China Sep 2021–Dec 2021
Collaborated with the algorithm team to review and enhance the robustness of 10 algorithms and over 20,000 lines of Java code related to bus stations, trajectory, and passenger flow.
Conducted a code refactoring initiative which increased the algorithms efficiency by 10% and reduced code complexity by 25% using Java, Maven, and Spring Boot.
Designed and executed an extensive suite of over 100 unit tests and 30 integration tests using JUnit and JTS with over 90% coverage of the codebase, ensuring the algorithms were rolled out with no issues.

Conducted a comprehensive review and analysis of more than 30 research papers related to Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV).

PROJECTS
Image Recognition of Pneumonia Mar 2020–Jul 2020
Led a team of four members to train GIV3 and VGG16 neural networks, achieving a 93.05% accuracy in distinguishing bacterial, viral pneumonia, and normal lungs from 6000+ X-ray images using PyTorch and Colaboratory.
Designed and implemented a website featuring the trained GIV3 neural network for automated X-ray image diagnosis, developed using Python and Django.
Face Recognition Check-in System Sep 2019–Dec 2019
Collaborated with a team of three members to train MTCNN and FaceNet neural networks, attaining a 97.3% accuracy on a custom dataset through Python and PyTorch.
Successfully deployed the trained face recognition neural networks on Nvidia Jetson Nano within a Linux environment.
