Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) coding system is used primarily to bill Medicare Part-B for supplies, materials, injections, various services and procedures that may or may not be defined in Current Procedural Terminology (CPT).

About HCPCS Processor Integration:

PharmPix is currently processing few Medicare Part-B claims using manual crosswalk of HCPCS-NDC code. PharmPix wanted to automate this process of mapping HCPCS/J-codes and NDC-UPC-HRI codes for processing its drug claims to its Medicare Part-B beneficiaries. Health plans such as MCS and CareMoreRx, sends claims using NDC-UPC-HRI codes to PharmPix which should be mapped to appropriate HCPCS/ J-code through this automated mapping process using SSIS package.
