My role in this position include:

• Developed and led the implementation of the SQE management systems in the Gulf area, which the SQE Implementation Program has been adopted, corporate-wide.

My role in this position include:

• The Operations Manager has overall responsibility for the daily operations of 10 Marine Vessels including all operational activities, performance management of staff, safety, quality control, budgeting, compliance, and regulatory matters.

• Performs as a liaison between Vessel activities and customers to maintain efficient delivery and resolve any difficulties relating to scheduling, overages, personnel shortages, and quality control issues.

• Consistently maintain and demonstrate a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the public.

• Ensuring that the Vessel(s) and assets are complying and following Company Policy as well as U.S.C.G. regulations.

• Staying within and managing budget; providing detailed explanations for any budget variance requests and/or overrides.

• Effectively coordinates all Vessel and Personnel requirements affecting applicable assignment locations, including quality control issues, notification procedures, coordination of witnesses when required, overages, shortages, and service interruptions.

• Initiates and recommends selection/promotion of staff, salary change considerations, and disciplinary matters.

• Conducts performance evaluations; promptly and appropriately addressing deficient performance and/or inappropriate behaviors of employees by working with/consulting management team and Human Resources.

• Assists in planning and execution of capital projects.

• Coordinates with Maintenance staff regarding vessel and barge maintenance delivery schedules, rearrangement of equipment shutdowns, vessel staffing and crew placement, and any other variables affecting vessel operations to minimize down time and throughput loss.

• Ensures compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations affecting vessel and/or fleeting operations.

• Reviews contracts pertaining to working on and around Company vessels to ensure Company property is adequately protected. Includes screening and reviewing leases, contracts as well as dock layouts.

• Coordinates company response relating to actions of outside contractors which includes vessel inspection, preparation of as-built drawings, and confirmation of scope of work to be completed.

• Routinely inspects Vessel to ensure compliance with maintenance, housekeeping, environmental, safety requirements and governmental agency requirements.

• Ensures all hazardous waste is managed according to state and federal regulations, as well as Company policy, as well as properly training personnel to handle hazardous waste.

My role in this position include:
