SPRING ARBOR ASSISTANT LIVING - Leesburg, Va. – April 2020-current (PRN). CLINICAL SUPERVISOR. Monitored CNAs/Med Techs, provided support to the Resident Director and Executive Director for global resident care and facility needs. Facilitated orders from NP and physicians, distributed medications, applied treatment as needed to the residents. Worked collaboratively with Home Health and Hospice Agencies involved in patient care. Partnered with the Memory Care unit for staffing needs. Responsible for both staffing and nursing agency scheduling.

GRAFTON INTEGRATED HEALTH NETWORKS - Berryville, Va. – February 2008-2020. Staff nurse to this psychiatric residential treatment facility, serving the adolescent population of complex disabilities with co-occurring psychiatric disorders, intellectual disabilities and Autism. Provided medical treatment, dispersing of medication, attending Multidisciplinary Treatment Team meetings. Served as school nurse to both Richmond, Va. And Berryville campuses. Presented with “ABOVE AND BEYOND AWARD FOR 2019”.

CEREBAIN BIOTECH – August 2013-2014. Medical/Public Relations representative to a newly developing medical device company focused on the treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease. Presented background findings and ongoing clinical trial developments to interested investors and the general public.

PRIVATE DUTY NURSING – 2006-2008 – worked with elderly clients with various conditions such as Alzheimer’s and other related mental health symptoms. Home care services included ADL’s, food preparation, doctor visits and working with family members in creating daily treatment planning.

LOUDOUN HOSPITLAL CENTER/LAMPS UNIT – February 1993 – December 2006. Psychiatric Tech 1993 until obtained nursing license in 1994. Staff nurse for this acute psychiatric 20 bed unit. Duties included leading group discussion, medication groups, individual sessions, processed new admissions coordinating with outside agencies and internal networks. Providing phlebotomy needs, starting IV’s for ECT treatments and served on the Infection Control Board. Float pool to Med/Surg units.

INTERNAL MEDICINE/DR. NEVEN UJEVIC – Leesburg, Va. – October 1995-1997. Staff Nurse for this one physician office; duties included serving clients with multiple medical needs, setting appointments. Assisted in Sigmoidoscopy and Stress test procedures.

CHARTER WESTBROOK PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL – Richmond, Va., April 1990-1991. Psychiatric Assistant at this 191-bed facility, worked on the Crisis Until – conducted admissions, room, body searches. Documented behavior monitoring led group discussions. “EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH’ – May 1991

SPRINGWOOD PSYCHIATIC CENTER – Leesburg, Va., August 1983-1985. Psychiatric Tech. Worked with both teens and adults, running group sessions, providing transportation for the duel diagnoses clients to AA/NA meetings and to outside treatment facilities. Served on the planning board in implementing

medical and standard operational components for the opening of the new Children’s Unit. Served 1 years with that unit.
