Upon graduation from college, my first job was a customer service representative for SPEED>S Corporation, an electronic tax filing organization. I quickly moved from that position to a Systems Integrator position. Two years later, I moved to Amcom Software, a voicemail, messaging, and call accounting software developer. I worked there two years installing and integrating systems, then I moved on to Premier One Consultants as a Systems Integrator. This is the position that allowed me to transition my career and utilize the database expertise that was the focus of my degree in college. After a year of systems integration, I was promoted to Project Manager and a year later to Senior Project Manager. As Senior Project Manager I took on the added responsibility of database design for the WorldTrak suite of Customer Relationship Management products. In 1998, I joined the Northwest Airlines Y2K program office and spearheaded a companywide program to certify and remediate all computer systems worldwide. After the year 2000, I spent four years as the Database Administrator/Architect for Infocomm Information Resources and then onto a host of consulting engagements including one for TFG Direct, a telemarketing firm that needed a database system to house marketing programs as well as record calls and responses. That database is still in use today.
