Professional Experience
Head of Finance: Zorzor Rural Teacher Training Institute (ZRTTI), a Government of Liberia Funded Entity with oversight from the Ministry of Education – September 1, 2015-June 12, 2023
Specific Tasks:
Overseas the operations and development of ZRTTI’s finance department including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures
Supervised the preparation of quarterly and annual reconciliations, monitored and enforced compliance with tax and financial reporting standards, and assisted with cash flow forecasting.
Advised colleagues and the Director of ZRTTI on decisions related to ZRTTI’s finances.
Mediated between ZRTTI employees and the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning on financial issues for the amicable resolution of differences.
