I am hard working, goal oriented, work well with others, and self motivated. I got my first job at Taco Bell at age 18. I worked at 3 restaurants before starting my manufacturing career. Attended Fayetteville State University for 2 years but did not recieve a degree. My two kids are very important to me. One of them has special needs.

Work Experience

Packer/Inspector/mixer machine operator/fork lift operator/inventory/QA Atlantic Natural Foods, LLC - Nashville, NC

April 2014 to August 2023

I started as a packer. Moved my way up to line leader in a few months. Packer's responsibilities: inspect product, remove any bad product, count proper amount with as few of acceptable defects as possible into cans, keep area clean. Line leader's responsibilities: do 15 minute and 30 minute checks, keep record of downtime, any quality issues, and report anything that may cause product from being harmful or inedible. I became a mixer in a couple of years. Mixer's responsibilities: document batch size, weight of all ingredients for batch, and lot numberson proper formula/batching sheet, weigh out correct ingredients at correct weights, add to mixing machine, time mixing and empty out product into containers. Later on, I received my sit down and stand up forklift, scissorlift and electric pallet jack. With these forklift experience learned how to perform warehouse duties: recieving and putting up ingredients and packaging and helped do inventory of warehouse. I have 4 months of RF SMART scanner experience. As a QA, I inspected ingredients and documented findings before warehouse could put them away. I also have sanitation/ chemical training.

Printer Operator

November 2010 to June 2013

I started out as a packer. Printer operator's responsibilities: load blank extruded wine corks using automated dumper to correct printer's hoppers for order being ran, align print on corks by making adjustments to plate and rubber pads, add ink to inkwel, match image to samples, fill totes until full and set into que, and change over once order is completed. I also learned to operate two color printers. As a packer, you pulled samples of finished corks, bagged and sealed corks using a heat sealer, placed corks into boxes and loaded them onto conveyors. I was offered line coordinator position but had to turn it down. I learned to set up automated palletizing and label machine. I completed coordinator training, but wanted to learn all the other cells' jobs too so I could train any new hires. Set-up Operator

Tyco/ Covalence/Berry Plastics - Battleboro, NC

September 2005 to October 2010

I started out as a packer and worked my way up to being a set up. Part of a set up operator's responsibilities were: pulling any materials for product order, making sure lines ran properly: product was at right length, width, elasticity and color, ensuring if plastic had slit or print, and start up or change over of extrusion lines to complete orders for drop cloth and bags. Once product was packed into sleeves and/or in boxes, palletizing according to company expectations. Track amount of and reasons for scrap. Track and adjust materials used for order, keep line filled with those materials, and use balers to compact scrap and cardboard.
