DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provided basic neonatal life support and other need based patient care.

Handled and monitored life support equipment like a ventilator.

Assisted doctors-in-charge to insert line like picc and uvc.

Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.

Prepare and administer (orally, subcutaneously and through an IV) and record prescribed medications.

Evaluate and monitor the patient’s progress and also vital signs.

Set up and monitor life support equipment and devices such as cardiac monitors, pressure lines, oxygen delivery devices, mechanical ventilators and pulse oximeters.

Change dressings insert catheters and start IVs.

Planning, implementing, and evaluating the total skin care plan, especially for bedsore care.

Performing the process of feeding by feeding tubes and also offers comfort and support to premature and ill newborns and their parents and family members.

Provided care during phototherapy.

Suctioning of airways secretions through oro-naso-endotracheal tube.

Participate in discharge planning.
