Job Description:

Carries out on-site assessment and installation of precast cover slabs, concrete beams, precast road side drains with sand bath, framed structures, container stacking areas, etc.

Supervise all subcontractors steel works starting from rebar works to reinforcement’s cage installations for diaphragm walls of Quay 1,2,3,4. Maintain excess slurry head to limit ground settlements during construction of diaphragm walls.

Produce schedules and supervision of RCC precast for framed structures, bridge beams, cover slabs, road side drains 1&2, stacking beams, fence panels/pillar, column bases, fence support, stair flights, underground septic tanks, sand Crete blocks of different sizes etc.

Assist other QA/QC supervisors with consultants to carry out the site inspections for block and plastering works, rigid. Pavements, side drains, according to drawing specifications

Check surveyor’s levels and alignment before and after construction works.

Inspection of reinforcement details/dimensions for reinforced concrete structures, in the case of New G+5 building and Temporary Warehouse for Paving and Micro Silica house in Onne Complex, Rivers state.

Coordination/resolution of any non-conformity work procedure in accordance with the contractual requirements.

Prepare Quality Control Inspection reports for non-conformity/discrepancies that come up in sites as well as close it when the corrections/repairs works has been carried out.

Receive RFI forms from site supervisors prior to any planned work as well as carry out inspection especially reinforced concrete detail before construction as in the case of Temporary/Paving Micro Silica warehouse/other water structures like precast bridge beams in PRODECO new yard, Onne Rivers State.

Inspection of new sand washing area/pump house and other related maintenance work associated.

Prepare punch list/balance of work in different projects assigned to me in Onne port complex.

Confirm project processes and procedures have been implemented to demonstrate full compliance.

Confirms that project teams have made adequate integrity assumptions in the development of the basis of project design, operational strategies and maintenance strategies.

Perform QA/QC inspection activities related to pipes, electrical/structural details, dimension details and formworks before and after casting of concrete.
