Noteable Projects:

RBS ADUSA RELEX E2E Project

This was a two-year effort to integrate Supply Chain, to improve the current legacy systems which were inflexible, no control for inventory or ordering strategies. Multiple demands of management and teams using different tools created additional manual work.

Accomplishments:

Build end –to -end solutions and processes to drive the supply chain forecast and replenishment.

We unified the processes and shared practices throughout ADUSA

Created easier access to data and visibility with one central place to review e.g. total inventory levels.

RELEX end-to-end solution also simplifies ADUSA current IT landscape and unified ways of working.

Perpetual Inventory Project

Currently, Ahold USA does not have a daily view of item level inventory position by store and warehouse and is not able to track daily inventory changes by store at item level which limits our ability to manage strategic merchandising, control shrink and execute pricing initiatives .

The goal is to implement perpetual inventory in legacy AUSA using the ACIS solution, already used by legacy DA, to enable the proactive management of item level inventory position with elements required to calculate inventory valuation using Average Cost Accounting, as a complete store rollout, including Non-perishable (NP), Fresh, Pharmacy and Fuel and Peapod.

Accomplishments:

Improved speed, accuracy, and visibility of shrink reporting at item level .

Improved DSD margins and reduced shrink by creating single source of inventory transactions to leverage for PI information for downstream systems (RBS, Supply Chain Systems, and Store Operations) ensuring inventory and shrink decisions are based on accurate data.

Leveraging detailed DSD planogram data and margin attributes at the item and store level to improve DSD margins .

Leveraging item level data and enhanced shrink reporting capabilities to improve awareness and accountability for shrink within the stores and Merchandising.
