Work Experience
Machinery Supervisor: Monitor, oversee commercial and military naval ship repair projects, schedules, budgets, craft and subcontractor manpower to ensure all contractual requirements are being met. Responsible for planning, providing input during estimating phases, safety, successful execution, cost & schedule performance and billing of projects.
Ship Foreman: Supervised and managed repair modifications to US naval & commercial vessels. Adhered to project schedule and budgets, coordinated craft and subcontractor manpower to ensure specification requirements were performed. Interfaced with customer reps, surveyors and engineering technical authorities. Responsible for environmental & shipboard safety of all production crafts and subcontractors.
Shop Foreman: Supervised and managed shop operations and overhauls of all machinery repair. prioritized manpower and material handling. Implemented production control and quality assurance measures. Submitted as found inspections to include the recommended actions not covered in the basic scope of the projects. Maintained (birth to grave) in house shop report which included man-hours, material expenses, required report submitted, time /day the equipment arrived in the shop day/time it gets shipped.
