• Medical Lead Scientist worked during the height of the COVID pandemic.

• Worked and maintained instrumentation in all facets of the core of the lab to include: Sysmex Hematology line, Roche module lines to include Automation line, stago compact for coagulation, Novus urinalysis lines for urinalysis.

• Hematology testing including differential review if reflexed Cloud based reference lab with fully automated services, including their own interface built to include a battery of 30+ hormone tests for direct clients including: LowT clinics, hormone replacement doctors, diabetic clinics, and pain management centers. 2016-2019 Lead Medical Technologist – MYLabDFW – Southlake, TX

• Lead Shift Medical Technologist responsible for equipment maintenance, minor repair, and QC for the following day’s lab operations.

• Run Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation and Urinalysis: Sysmex, Beckman Coulter UNICEL DXC880i and Beckman Coulter AU5800, BioRad D100’s for A1C’s and ISED’s for automated serrate testing.

• All hematology ran through Sysmex XN9000 analyzer with slide maker, Stainer, and differential slide maker.

• All 5-part differentials that reflexed for diff review were reviewed by myself for all the night shifts.

• Additional responsibilities included coagulation department.

• This included running prothrombin times, activated partial thrombin times, and dimmers on occasion when requested by emergency scenarios.

• Any stat results were posted and resulted, and a call center would initiate contact with the “client” involved.

• Coagulation – run all coagulation specimens on a Stago Coag Analyzer to determine Heparin/ Coumadin Therapies, as well clotting rates.

• Urinalysis – complete through Iris Spectra Analyzer with automated microscopic analysis.

• Microbiology plating and gram stains.
