• Worked and maintained instrumentation in all facets of the core of the lab to include: Sysmex Hematology line, Roche module lines to include Automation line, stago compact for coagulation, Novus urinalysis lines for urinalysis.

• Lead Shift Medical Technologist responsible for equipment maintenance, minor repair, and QC for the following day’s lab operations.

• All hematology ran through Sysmex XN9000 analyzer with slide maker, Stainer, and differential slide maker.
• All 5-part differentials that reflexed for diff review were reviewed by myself for all the night shifts.
• Additional responsibilities included coagulation department.
• This included running prothrombin times, activated partial thrombin times, and dimmers on occasion when requested by emergency scenarios.
• Any stat results were posted and resulted, and a call center would initiate contact with the “client” involved.
