I held many positions while employed with this company. I was a dock hand which my duties were pressure washing, driving quads with trailers, assisting customers. I was also an instructor on how to operate houseboats, patio boats, ski boats, and party barges. During the orientations I would take the clients on a walkthrough of the boat and teach them the proper ways to operate their boats and warn them of the possibility of someone being seriously injured or the possibility of death if they did not follow the instructions or follow the safety protocol. I would inform them of the laws on the lake and consequences if they did not obey them. I would teach how to safely operate the houseboat so no one would incur any injuries. That also included the correct way to start, operate, and turn off the generator and how long it needed to be ran to charge the batteries and how to tell when the batteries are low. I instructed them how to use the panel switchboard to turn on and off different appliances so they would not drain the batteries or cause the generator to fail. I instructed them how to tie off on the shoreline. I was a boat driver and i would assist the customers by driving a fishing boat out to houseboats, tie it to the back, and drive the customers back to the dock after their trip was over. I would also drive customers out and away from the dock when their trip was starting. I was housekeeping supervisor and ran a crew of 20+ housekeepers cleaning upwards of 20 entire houseboats, ranging from10 to 22 persons sleeping capacity, in a very short amount of time to send them out again for new clients the same day. I was a cashier for the marina market on the dock and had to stock shelves and accept shipments. I would sign for shipments and verify they were complete. I would assist customers with finding items and use a POS to ring in items the customers wanted to purchase and use a separate computer system to authorize fuel pumps. We also sold fishing licenses, so I learned how to use the fish and game computer system as well. I was a reservation's agent for both Jones Valley Resort and Silverthorn Resort and would take calls, book customers for trips, get credit card information, scan and attach files to customers accounts, answer emails, authorize refunds, accept payments for customers trips, call to remind customers of payment due dates, if the time for them to have been paid had lapsed. I would also accept payments from customers that had their own personal boats moored at the marina. I also was doing upholstery for the houseboats as well. I was Re- upholstering benches,couches, and really anything else that had holes, was wearing thin, or had started to come apart.
