I have been in Healthcare for 22 years. I have a wide array of experience. I started my journey in Healthcare, as a certified nurses aide, became a medication aide, then I became an LPN. I later became an RN who was quickly promoted to a director of nursing. During my DON and mentoring I completed my BSN and then my MSN. My masters' degree is as a nurse educator. I aspire to recieve my NP doctorate in psychiatric nursing. I have traveled up and down the east coast with employers and finally making my home in Jupiter, Florida. Ran a 40 bed drug and alcohol detox. A 20-40 patient php with 2 residential treatment houses holding 13 patients a piece co- ed. Monitored pharmacies used and changed pharmacies to help recieve medications in a timely matter, case management for all detox patients, provided counselors and social workers detailed nursing assessments to aide in treatment options for the discharge after detox. Aided patients in helping find the right kind of treatment for them. Opened the building in 2018 while being a mentor and taking over in 2020 most of the staff left. Ran the building 24/7 during the covid shut down I worked with 2 other nurses to make sure we had continual nursing coverage. There were no breakouts of covid 19. Responsible for all incident reports, quality assurance, patient improved outcomes, satisfaction survey outcomes and helped change policies to ensure best possible outcomes

Had a team of 20 nurses. Licensed practical nurses monitored treatment side while Registered nurses monitored those freshly detoxing. Participated in multidisplinary meetings daily, helped on the floor, and personally scanned 1800 charts into the EHR to help with state compliance.
