Seguros Banorte. Project Leader. Integration of the insurer's systems with an external rating platform to make the calculation of its premiums more efficient (less than a second). In the integration, the development of the architecture design of a host adapter was coordinated to integrate the platform and save the calculations. The project had a scope from architecture design, definition of functional requirements, adapter development (JavaScript languages and Oracle databases are used for development), test case design, Postman tests, scanners, UAT and implementation follow up to production.

Key Achievements:

oSystem connectivity with a powerful calculation engine receiving more than 100 requests and responding in less than a second.

oInstallation of a front that allows the user to make historical queries of the requested calculations.

oThe user has access to a platform that allows them to create and maintain new premium rates without the need to develop within the systems.

2019:

Mexican Bank. Business Analyst. Understand in depth the bank's operating model, to issue recommendations for the future operating model, based on best practices in the industry. Evaluate indicator metrics and SLAs used by the bank and issue recommendations for their alignment with the Future Operating Model.

BBVA México. Product Owner. Participation in the redesign of the client authentication model through biometrics and implementation of the initiative with agile methodology. Following up from the analysis of the requirement of the authority, preparation of functional requirements, test cases and release to production. Authentication was implemented for customers in the small and medium business segment.

oTimely compliance with the requirement of the authority to use biometrics in customer authentication, generating savings in penalties.

oNationwide distribution of the solution, starting with a pilot test and expanding in 3 blocks.

Guidewire. Project Leader. Development of proofs of concept in RPA for the automation of claims records, data validation and customer registration in the Guidewire system. PoCs were developed with the blueprism and Automation Anywhere tools.

oConstruction of demos with the blueprism and automation anywhere tools to test the efficiency of RPA in the Guidewire system in the insurance industry.

2017:

BBVA México. Project Leader. RPA implementation with blueprism, leading the development and implementation of robots used in the Accounting and Finance departments. We use agile methodology working our activities on the Jira platform, Daily Scrum and Kanban board. Understanding and preparing functional requirements. Review and preparation of infrastructure requirements, preparation and execution of test cases, review with security committees and follow-up in the promotion to production.

Key Achievements:

o100% Automatic validation of accounting policies and layout preparation for massive uploading to systems, avoiding the risk of manual error and 30% reduction in time.

o100% automatic download of information published by the national banking commission and automatic preparation of databases and reports used for market analysis. A time reduction from 43 hours to 13 hours was obtained.

o100% Automatic analysis and preparation of electronic invoices received by a functional mailbox in structured folders to be uploaded to company systems.

American Express México. Project Leader. Implementation of two RPAs for the construction of control reports and validation of information. The processes were developed with the blueprism tool and before the development they were elaborated manually. Preparation and execution of test cases and follow-up in the move to production

Key Achievements:

oA reduction in the time for preparing the reports was achieved, allowing them to be generated daily instead of monthly. The process, being automated, was totally standardized and without risk of error.

oWith the report validation RPA, the company could verify its controllership information more frequently, ensuring the reduction of errors and complying with the requirements of the authority.

Scotiabank México. Project Leader. Implementation of PoC for the generation and sending statements using the blueprism tool. The process takes a list of accounts and generates the information, ensuring confidentiality and security mechanisms.

Key Achievements:

oThe advantages of the tool were demonstrated to the user, showing time savings by reducing the SLA from 24 hours to just minutes, taking care of the confidentiality and standardization of the process.

2016:

Element Fleet Management. Business Analysis. Preparation of day one readiness for data migration to the company's new platform. Identifying that the required accesses are available, and users can enter the necessary modules to cover their activities. Support staff to have the necessary software installations for data migration. Preparation of a catalog of roles and responsibilities of each user and the entitlements that must have.

oAfter the migration, 195 users were trained and gained access the new system and can operate correctly in the modules that correspond to them according to their functions ensuring the continuity of 18 processes.

Evaluating that the accesses are only those necessary to fulfill their functions and evaluating the controls to grant new accesses.

oControls and contracts were evaluated, ensuring that the company assigns the necessary entitlements to its external resources.

oCertificates were designed and implemented that allow the company to review and confirm the correct assignment of entitlements.

BBVA México. Project Leader. Implementation of internal communication channels in the new offices of a Global Bank with representation in México. Interviews with the internal communication team to identify the devices and points in the company's new buildings that fit their communication needs. Vendor selection coordination and follow-up with architects and infrastructure team to install the equipment in the new locations.

oSuccessful installation of internal communication equipment (videowalls, kiosks and monitors) in 7 new buildings allowing the internal communication office to transmit organizational announcements and streaming online from one point to all buildings.

Participation in Anti Money Laundry project with the responsibilities of analyze customer accounts and their transactional activity in six months, identify high risk accounts and notify them to the compliance office and Due diligence research in internal and external sources.

oA group of 500 clients was analyzed. A group of clients with possible suspicious behavior related to money laundering was identified and reported for further analysis.
