Company Brief: A 2000 bed dedicated heart hospital that gets referrals from all over the world for complex cardiac procedures. Started in 2001 under Dr Devi Shetty, this institution has established itself as one of the leading cardiac centers in the country where about 24 adult and 10 pediatric open heart surgeries are performed every day, six days a week. Over the past 18 years it has performed heart surgeries which include coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repairs and replacements, PTE, aortic aneurysms, heart transplants and complex congenital heart surgeries.

PROFESSIONAL OVERVIEW

During the course of our 5 year training programme, we get rotated in adult and pediatric surgery units. We get exposed to almost whole of spectrum of cardiac surgery . In the final year (6th year) as senior residents we get trained in doing straightforward CABG, MVR, AVR, ASD, VSD cases under senior consultant’s supervision apart from preparing all types of cases.
