Only trained and certified electrical, plumbing and refrigeration technicians are to service this unit. ALL WIRING AND PLUMBING MUST CONFORM TO NATIONAL AND LOCAL CODES. FAILURE TO COMPLY COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY, DEATH OR EQUIPMENT DAMAGE.IF THE SUPPLY CORD IS DAMAGED, IT MUST BE REPLACED BY THE MANUFACTURER, ITS SERVICE AGENT OR SIMILARLY QUALIFIED PERSONS IN ORDER TO AVOID A HAZARD.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• This unit has been specifically designed to provide protection against personal injury. To ensure continued protection observe the following:

• Access to the service area is restricted to persons having knowledge and practical experience of the appliance, in particular as far as safety and hygiene are concerned.

! WARNING:

Disconnect power to the unit before servicing following all lock out/tag out procedures established by the user. Verify all of the power is off to the unit before any work is performed. FAILURE TO DISCONNECT THE POWER COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY, DEATH OR EQUIPMENT DAMAGE.

! CAUTION:

Always be sure to keep area around the unit clean and free of clutter. FAILURE TO KEEP THIS AREA CLEAN MAY RESULT IN INJURY OR EQUIPMENT DAMAGE.

CO2 (CARBON DIOXIDE) WARNING

! DANGER:

CO2 displaces oxygen. Strict attention MUST be observed in the prevention of CO2 gas leaks in the entire CO2 and soft drink system. If a CO2 gas leak is suspected, particularly in a small area, IMMEDIATELY ventilate the contaminated area before attempting to repair the leak. Personnel exposed to high concentrations of CO2 gas experience tremors which are followed rapidly by loss of consciousness and DEATH.

Small and Medium Clear-Cup Dispenser Replacement Procedure Remove the Small Size, clear-cup dispensers and replace them as described in Table 1. Table 1.

1. Open the turret door by opening the UI door and pulling the door release. 2. Shut off electrical power to the ABS 2.0 unit.

3. Manually rotate the turret for access to the first Small Size cup dispenser to be replaced. a. For access to the upper mounting screw, grasp the upper ring of the cup dispenser and rotate it clock- wise to unlock it. Then lift it up and off of the cup dispenser. b. Remove the mounting screw from the cup dispenser, lift the dispenser to align the mounting stud with the turret keyhole slot and then withdraw the dispenser cup. 4. Align the mounting stud of the new cup

dispenser with the keyhole slot in the turret, then slide the cup dispenser down.

5. Install the mounting screw in the bottom hole

of the cup dispenser and use a Phillips

screwdriver to drive the screw into the lower of

the two threaded holes on the turret, as shown.

Do Not over-tighten the mounting screw.

6. Install the mounting screw in the top hole of

the cup dispenser. Use a Phillips screwdriver to

drive the mounting screw into the upper hole of

the two threaded holes of the turret. Be sure to

not over-tighten the screw.

7. Install retainer ring:

a. After the cup dispenser is installed, orient

the retainer collar so its locking slot is aligned with the stop on the cup dispenser body, as

shown.

b. Support the bottom of the cup dispenser

and then press the retainer collar down onto

the cup dispenser body.

8. Rotate the retainer collar counter-clockwise

until the stop of the cup dispenser is fully

engaged with the slot of the retainer collar.

9. Resume normal operation of the ABS 2.0 unit.
