Some motivating things that get me out of bed in the morning are the ability to make an impact on others, entrepreneurial spirit, financial, job security, flexibility, goal competition, growth opportunities, self starter, work-life balance, and peer recognition.

I am very diligent in my work and I strive to exceed expectations. I am also a friendly people person when need be as well as very responsible in my duties assigned. I enjoy being productive and taking on new tasks and gaining new knowledge on different areas of expertise. I am an undergraduate of the Ana G Mendez University System from class of 2016 with a major in Psychology and in the social sciences. I have a few goals that I place an emphasis on; pursuing my Master’s degree in Psychology, and following then after by accomplishing my doctorate degree in psychology studies. I look forward to adding much value to my college and career opportunities by learning new concepts, researching further in my studies, adding new courses of studies to apply to my daily personal life as well as my educational advancement. Some things that motivate me are the interest in how the biological components of human mind/ body function and their roles that play into our health and well being.

What drives me is mostly knowing that I have essential tools to contribute to the society regarding mind, body, and spirit. Knowing that I will be making a bigger impact and a difference in the lives of others due to my knowledge and use of my studies. I intend to utilize this degree to pursue a long term career as a professional in mental health, counseling, or clinician. My desire of the psychology studies also stem from wanting to extend my given tools on how to apply the well being of individuals by having them have further access and knowledge of evaluation and treatment options for various psychological illnesses, especially if left untreated or even not knowing they have an illness and having them be evaluated, which will greatly again, impact their lives in a profound and positive manner. I want to be in the middle of those cases and be honored to help as many individuals as possible.

I am looking forward to being part of the professionals who improve these practices in many healthcare fields. I am highly intrigued with dealing with different cases of mental health and finding/ discussing the best treatment options available to them. My aspiration to be the middle woman in this field is very gratified by knowing that I will possess a deeper understanding of the assessment and care of the patients needing solutions and treatment. I value leadership roles such as the psychologist/ psychiatrist/ holistic care roles as they seem very relevant to my interests for pursuing more studies. I plan to excel from my academic background and linking it into my further studies for an expansion into more career opportunities.
